About Sarah Haas

The ability to communicate as well as eat and drink are fundamental in maintaining a high quality of life. I am inspired by my patients who have these basic abilities taken from them due to stroke, TBI, heart attack, severe illness, neuromuscular diseases, laryngeal injuries and many other etiologies. The resiliency and fight towards recovery that I see daily from my patients is humbling and I am grateful to be a small part of their care at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
