My favorite aspect of being an anesthesiologist is the opportunity to provide comfort and safety to patients during surgery, knowing that I play a vital role in their care and recovery. I chose to join UI because of its stellar reputation in medical education and research, and the collaborative environment coupled with state-of-the-art facilities makes it an ideal setting for professional growth and innovation. Working with patients allows me to make a direct and meaningful impact on their health and well-being. UI Health Care's anesthesia program is known for its advanced techniques and comprehensive patient care, emphasizing multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous innovation to uphold the highest standards of safety and effectiveness. I'm deeply inspired by the chance to positively influence patients’ experiences through pain relief, safety, and comfort, and the precision, knowledge, and compassion required in anesthesia motivates me to continually enhance my skills and expertise.
