Interstitial lung diseases can be due to toxic exposures, medications, infections, autoimmune diseases, or can occur without any known cause (idiopathic).
Because some of these disorders often involve a number of organ systems in addition to the lung, the our experts work together in multi-specialty teams to provide their patients the best care possible. We also work closely with the lung transplantation team if referral is necessary. The mission of our clinic is to improve the lives of patients with interstitial lung disease through appropriate diagnostic evaluation, state-of-the-art treatment, research, and education regarding these diagnoses.
