About
"My favorite thing about my job is seeing the dramatic changes that take place when people improve their voice. It can be a client with dysphonia who learns to sound like themselves again after years of sounding hoarse, or a gender affirming client who explores and discovers how to make their voice authentic. These changes can significantly improve people's lives and their attitudes about their voice and themselves. My primary position is training graduate speech-language pathology students in our MA program. I cherish the opportunity to prepare these students to provide voice therapy and take that knowledge into the communities where they will work." — A. Louise Pinkerton
