Pulmonary medicine now at Iowa River Landing
A new pulmonary medicine clinic offering patients pulmonary function testing, imaging, and a pharmacy in one convenient location opened April 30 at UI Health Care–Iowa River Landing.
UI pulmonary specialists moved their clinics from University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics to the new location at 105 East 9th Street, Coralville, Iowa. The new clinic is staffed by obstructive pulmonary disease specialists Alejandro Comellas, MD; Spyridon Fortis, MD; Joel Kline, MD; and Sara Kraus, ARNP; as well as, interstitial lung disease specialists Alicia Gerke, MD; Lakshmi Durairaj, MD; Nabeel Hamzeh, MD; Kamonpun Ussavarungsi, MD; and Sara Kraus, ARNP.
Pulmonary therapy specialist Rachel Butler, MD, also moved to the new pulmonary medicine clinic at UI Health Care–Iowa River Landing and will continue to see patients at UI Hospitals & Clinics on Wednesdays.
The UI pulmonary physicians and care-team members work to improve the life of patients diagnosed with inflammatory lung diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, and sarcoidosis through state-of-the-art treatment options, leading-edge research, and education regarding their diagnosis.
