Prosthetic Rehabilitation

Expert care is provided for the patient who has had an amputation whether due to injury or disease. Rehabilitation may be initiated during the patient’s hospital stay and continue as an outpatient for prosthetic training with a new artificial limb. Therapists work closely with the local prosthetists to provide coordinated care. Our therapists provide care to restore mobility, decrease pain and swelling, and improve function.
