About Alison Uhl

After working for almost 11 years at a community health center in my hometown of Sioux City, IA, I decided to join the faculty at UI Health Care because of the excellent education I received from the University of Iowa. I am excited to be able to contribute to the ongoing education of recently-graduated dentists and help shape them as clinicians and leaders. My favorite aspect of working at UI Health Care is the care we are able to provide in the Ambulatory Surgery Center for patients with special needs who would otherwise be unable to receive dental treatment in a traditional clinical setting.
