My favorite thing about my job is to help people live their best lives. I joined University of Iowa health care because I believe in the mission and values of this organization. I like working with patients because I like to hear their stories. I learn from my patients every day. UIHC is a special place due to the positive impact it has on people's lives from all over the state of Iowa in the United States. The ability to help others work through life's difficulties is what inspires me to practice as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner.
