I am thrilled to announce my new role as a faculty physician in the Pulmonary and Critical Care division at Iowa Health Care. This position is particularly meaningful to me as it marks the continuation of a journey that began here during my residency and fellowship training. Over these years, I have developed a deep affection for Iowa City and its vibrant community, as well as immense respect for my colleagues and mentors at Iowa Health Care.

The people here are extraordinary. The environment is filled with brilliant, inquisitive minds that constantly challenge one another to push the boundaries of medicine. This culture of relentless inquiry and collaboration has not only shaped my professional growth but also fueled my passion for pulmonary and critical care. I am continually inspired by the dedication, intelligence, and innovative spirit that permeate our institution.

Beyond the professional realm, Iowa has become a happy and welcoming home for my wife and two daughters. My wife, who is equally passionate about her work in the cell therapy division, and I have found a community that is both kind and humble. The warmth and generosity of the people here have made our lives richer.

As I embark on this new chapter, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities and experiences that have led me here. I look forward to contributing to the exceptional care provided at Iowa Health Care and to being part of a team that continually strives for excellence. Iowa City is not just a place where I work; it is home, and I am honored to serve its community.
