Strabismus is a vision problem in which both eyes do not look at the same point at the same time. Strabismus most often begins in early childhood. It is sometimes called crossed-eyes, walleye, or squint.
Our strabismus clinic helps manage eye muscle imbalances in children and adults, offering special eye measurement tests as well as treatment with glasses, prisms, patches, and/or muscle exercises as required.
Pediatric ophthalmologists often work in conjunction with orthoptists in the treatment of strabismus.
