Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based program, designed by a specialized physical therapist, to reduce dizziness-related symptoms and improve balance. Dizziness often occurs as a result of an inner ear (vestibular) problem. Inner ear dizziness, called vertigo, results in a feeling of spinning or movement of your environment. Our physical therapists can help you manage your dizziness and get moving again. Vestibular rehabilitation includes a thorough evaluation and personalized exercise program for your specific needs.
Common Diagnoses Seen by Physical Therapists:
- Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo
- Unilateral Vestibular Hypofunction
- Bilateral Vestibular Hypofunction
