About Danielle Hitzel

My favorite part about my job as a pediatric Speech Pathologist is working with families to help them in supporting the development of their little ones. I am passionate about infant and pediatric feeding and swallowing and have years of diverse experience in working with infants and children and teaching staff and parents how to best support their feeding, swallowing and early communication skills. I feel privileged to be a small part of the journey in helping our babies thrive and have the best start in life. I am excited about coming to work every day at UI Stead Children's Hospital and working with knowledgeable staff and teams of experts who are equally as passionate about what they do for our children.
