Introduction to EBP online course

This is a four-part user-friendly overview of evidence-based practice (EBP) as an online continuing education course for nurses.

Course includes:

What evidence-based practice is and why it's important to your setting.
How to use models, including the Iowa Model Revised: Evidence-Based Practice to Promote Excellence in Health Care^©, to guide you through your evidence-based practice initiatives.
Strategies to test and sustain a practice change.
Leadership approaches for building a culture of inquiry in your setting where EBP will flourish.

Four contact hours will be granted by University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Nursing (Iowa Board of Nursing Approved Provider #34). Participants must complete the entire course to receive full credit.
