I've been going to this clinic for almost 2 years. I recently was recommended for a surgery that my doctor does not perform so was referred to Dr. Keene. She was awesome from the start when I initially met her and made me feel very comfortable. Although Dr. Keeney knew I was a nurse who had worked in labor and delivery, she sat with a large picture of my insides and showed me exactly what was going on. She asked if I had any questions and explain things so clearly that I didn't. She gave me options to choose from for my treatment, which I felt was appropriate, and she allowed me to choose which one I wanted.

Dr. Kenne explained the colpocleisis procedure to me really well; she sat near me, looked at me, spoke slowly & clearly, and explained each step of the surgery, and encouraged my questions. She did not make me feel rushed at all. At 83, having had 3 other abdominal surgeries ([ID]), I was concerned about having another surgery. However, the LeFort Colpocleisis was presented as something that was available to help me with my bladder prolapse, which was done very successfully on [Date]. I had total confidence in Dr. Kenne throughout the entire process.

Overall it was a very pleasant visit. Dr. Kenne is very thorough and knowledgeable. She is a great listener, but I found her to be a little businesslike and matter-of-fact that this was the best we can do. I was left with no solution but a referral. I understand that is the way things can be.
