About Melissa Ludgate

I remember being struck by the commitment to patient care at UI Hospitals & Clinics while rotating on the inpatient medical psychiatry unit as a visiting medical student. I chose Iowa for combined residency training in internal medicine and psychiatry because of the ability to provide integrated, holistic care to patients in a place that inspires me. I am honored to be here as staff, continuing to learn every day and be challenged to be my best.
