About Joshua Holt
Joshua Holt, MD, is a pediatric and adult orthopedic surgeon who specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatment of pediatric hip and spine disorders, including developmental hip dysplasia and scoliosis. He treats many common bone and joint conditions in child and adolescent patients and is also an expert in pediatric musculoskeletal trauma.
He actively participates in research involving pediatric and adolescent hip disorders, including dysplasia, Perthes, and slipped capital femoral epiphysis. Ongoing studies involve spinal deformities, treatment outcomes, and the impact on patient gait.
Holt received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill, before completing his residency at University of Iowa Health Care. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics and Scoliosis at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.
