Getting to the hospital during RAGBRAI July 28–29

A large influx of people into the greater Iowa City area is expected. This will cause traffic congestion. 

From east Iowa City

• Head west on Grand Avenue.
• Take the second exit from the roundabout.
• This will give you access to Parking Ramps 1, 2, 3, and 4, and get you to the Main Entrance. 

From Interstate 380/U.S. Route 218 

• Patients traveling to the hospital from Interstate 380 or U.S. Route 218 should use the Highway 1 exit and travel east on Highway 1.
• Turn left on Highway 6, then left on Grand Avenue.
• Take the second exit from the roundabout.
• This will give you access to Parking Ramps 1, 2, 3, and 4, and get you to the Main Entrance.  

From Interstate 80 

• Take the North Dubuque Street exit and turn left on Jefferson Street. 
• Turn right on Gilbert Street and turn right on Burlington Street. 
• Proceed across the river, through the stoplight and up the hill on to Grand Avenue.
• Take the second exit from the roundabout.
• This will give you access to Parking Ramps 1, 2, 3, and 4, and get you to the Main Entrance.
