New urgent care welcomes patients in Davenport
Providers are now seeing patients at University of Iowa Health Care’s first urgent care clinic in the Quad Cities.
The walk-in clinic at 2705 E 53rd St. in Davenport opening on Tuesday, Jan. 23, with extended hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Patients of all ages can be seen at any UI Health Care urgent care location.
Clinics such as this act as an access point for patients to connect with the world-class, excellent care of UI Health Care. The health system already has locations in the Quad Cities that provide family medicine, dermatology, cancer care, pediatric specialty care, and more.
Urgent cares are walk-in clinics that provide care for minor illnesses and injuries and typically have shorter wait times than a busy emergency room. These clinics will provide services that go beyond a typical walk-in clinic, including IV fluids, stitches, and X-rays.
A second urgent care clinic will open later this year in Bettendorf. UI Health Care continues to actively recruit for these locations. A full list of open positions—from patient care to support roles—is available online.
This expansion of health care services in the Quad Cities further supports UI Health Care’s long-term goals of supporting access to health care across the state.
