About Cara Drew
My favorite thing about my job is the variety and emotional connection I can form with my patients. I joined U of I because I not only love taking care of patients but I love teaching. The U of I provides me all the support and educational opportunities to be the best teacher and physician I can be. I like working with patients and meeting them on their level. Patients are more than their diseases and struggles. Being able to make a difference in someone's life by making a difference in their health keeps me inspired to practice medicine.
