My favorite thing about my job is...
Honestly, seeing a kid’s face light up when they can see clearly for the first time. It never gets old. Helping kids and their families through tough moments is what makes it all worth it.

I joined UI because...
It felt like the right place—not just professionally, but personally too. The people here really care about what they do, and I wanted to be part of that.

I like working with patients because...
You build real connections. In pediatrics, it’s not just the patient—it’s the parents, siblings, the whole family. I love being part of that support system.

What is special about UI Health Care?
There’s a strong sense of community here. People go the extra mile for each other, and that shows in how we care for patients.

What inspires you to practice medicine?
For me, it’s always been about helping people in a real, hands-on way. Seeing the difference you can make in someone’s life—especially a child’s—is incredibly motivating.
