Nicolas O. Noiseux, MD, MS, FRCSC, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in problems with previous hip and knee replacements, rapid recovery protocols for hip and knee replacements, as well as work-related injuries related to hip and knee dysfunction.
He received his medical degree and his orthopedic surgery residency training at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, before completing his hip and knee reconstruction fellowship and a research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Noiseux has written several book chapters and publications on hip and knee reconstruction research topics and has won multiple awards such as the Eugene Rogalla Prize and the Vernon A. Nickel Award.
He is an associate professor in the department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Iowa and serves as the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs.
