Dr. Maassen is one of the best medical providers I've ever had. She really seems to listen and care, on a human-to-human level. At the same time, she weaves in her knowledge and expertise in a way that inspires confidence and comfort. The care she provides feels both professionally guided and collaborative. She is thorough in her education and explanations and never seems like she is rushing, even though she's obviously incredibly busy in her role(s). Truly cannot recommend her enough to other patients, and cannot thank her enough for what a difference she's making in my current healthcare journey.

Dr. Maassen was truly the most personable provider I have ever seen. Due to our long fertility journey, I had so much anxiety headed into our 20-week anatomy appointment. Dr. Maassen genuinely asked about my concerns, wanted my input on what to discuss in which order per my anxiety, and was just so compassionate and caring. Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Maassen. I have met with three different providers thus far throughout my pregnancy and she was far and above the most attentive and helpful. I have never had an experienced with a doctor like I had with Dr. Massin! She listened, she explained all options, good and bad, options I didn't even know were an options before. She gave me her opinion as a doctor but also as a mother herself. She didn't talk to you like a doctor. She talked to you like an equal. I had a lot of concerns and past birthing trauma and she talked me through ways that she would try to make it better this time. She spent a lot of time with me during my appt. I didn't feel rushed with her. The nurse even had to come in and try to get her to hurry up as she was getting behind. I felt heard. I felt like a friend vs a pt meeting her for the first time. She made me feel so comfortable. She encouraged me that it's good seeing a lot of different providers in their group but realized that it's also good to have a person and she could be that person for me. That's not what any ordinary doctor would say to a pt. This Is above and beyond care. That made me feel so good and heard and respected. I work in the medical field along side a lot of doctors, as a provider myself, never have I came across a special one like her. This was one meeting with her and I hope we make it work out that she delivers my baby.

This is based on the PA, not Dr Maassen since the PA Greta is who helped me with initial treatment. I have a complex history due to requiring Cryotherapy for my Cervix. The PA was not able to insert the IUD and did not know why it was not working, and after 5 attempts the Nurse said she was going to go get Dr Maassen and she did. Dr Maassen came in and immediately could see that I had Scar tissue from past Cryotherapy treatments that was causing the problem and she was able to insert the IUD a different way. With my complex history, going forward I will always know to double check that the Dr will be the primary person seeing and treating me.

She has genuine concern, compassion, explains things to me in a way I can understand, puts up with my 100 questions, etc. She puts my mind at ease but while being honest of risk. We build a plan and we execute it. I never have any pause that she will get me and my baby through anything. She's the only reason we feel comfortable trying for a 3rd child. If she left we would stop trying.

Dr. Maassen is so wonderful, I feel incredibly lucky to be in her care (and everyone I interact with who knows her reiterates what good hands I'm in!). It's such a gift to feel so cared for and confident in my doctor especially during a pandemic and especially after a traumatic delivery with my first baby.

The kindness of everyone I was with. I can't say enough how sincerely kind my nurses and doctors were. I was in an awful, emotional situation and they took the time to make me as comfortable as they could. They stopped what they were doing to talk with me over questions or concerns.

Dr. Maassen made me feel listened to and she accepted my concerns. She showed care and concern and this was my first time meeting her. I wish I would have lived here when I started having children 12 years ago!! I will be referring all of my female friends to her for care. Although, she is a busy doctor so I doubt she will need the referrals. She should be mentoring others because she is one of those diamonds in the rough!
