Rehabilitation Therapies

Helping each person make the most of their functional abilities and improve their quality of life is the goal of our specially trained therapists and therapy assistants. We are committed to providing outstanding clinical care to every patient. We use treatments based on the most current research to get our patients back to the activities they enjoy. Our specialists are able to work with nearly any condition requiring physical therapy or occupational therapy.

Why Choose Us?

  • Our physical therapists include board-certified specialists in orthopedics, sports, hand therapy, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric physical therapy as well as advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation, women's health, hemophilia, prosthetic rehabilitation, and lymphedema therapy.
  • Our occupational therapists include specialists working in clinic and in-patient settings addressing a range of psychological, neurological, trauma, and orthopedic conditions for both adults and children. Their specialties include hand therapy, prosthetic rehabilitation, facial rehabilitation, low vision, feeding and swallowing, and environmental modifications.
  • Several of our physical therapists serve as adjunct faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, which is consistently ranked among the top five physical therapy programs in the nation.
  • Our occupational therapists actively work with a patient's health care team to assure safe discharge to their home or to an institutional setting to continue progressing toward their rehabilitation goals.
  • Our therapists provide individualized patient care addressing our patients' specific needs in order to help achieve their goals.
  • We focus on interdisciplinary care with the rest of our patients' healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Our therapists stay up-to-date with the latest research, delivering treatment that is current best practice.
  • Our staff members participate in many interdisciplinary teams treating chronic spine pain, Parkinson's disease, women's health, hemophilia, brachial plexus disorders, Ehler's Danlos syndrome, ALS, burn trauma, facial paralysis, and Charcot-Marie-Tooth populations.
