Midwifery
Certified nurse-midwives (CNM) are advanced practice nurses who provide prenatal care, deliver babies, and offer a range of well-women services.

Our primary goal is to help you have a safe and healthy pregnancy, labor, and childbirth.
During your pregnancy, your midwife will monitor you and your baby's health at each of your prenatal visits. Your midwife will answer questions and address problems, concerns, or emergencies. Our midwives work in collaboration with our physician team should any complications arise.
Key Benefits
- Emphasize education about the pregnancy process
- Offer a nurturing, woman-centered approach
- Provide care in a hospital setting with immediate access to specialized care
- Support minimal intervention during childbirth
You may schedule all your appointments with the same nurse-midwife, or you can rotate your appointments between all of the nurse-midwives.
The Annual Reproductive Health Exam May Include:
- Bone density test
- Breast exam
- Discussion of the latest options for family planning
- Health maintenance education
- Mammogram
- Pap smear
- Review of your medical history
