We’re accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) in 3D gynecologic ultrasound. This means we meet or exceed strict standards of care, including physician qualifications and ultrasound accuracy.
A leader in safe, successful VBAC deliveries
In 2019, we earned “National Best Practice” designation from the American College of Nurse-Midwives for VBAC delivery outcomes. This means patients who pursued VBAC with the help of one of our midwives had better-than-average success rates.
Triple Aim 2024 Best Practice
The midwifery team at UI Health Care has been awarded the 2024 Best Practices-Triple Aim Achievement by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. This award recognizes programs that report fiscal outcomes, show high rates of breastfeeding in the first 48 hours, and have low rates of preterm births and cesarean births. They also earned this distinction in 2023.
