This is what the children's hospital looks like. Kids come here for many different things.
We can park in the underground parking ramp or get out of our car at the front door.
This is what we will see inside the parking ramp.
We go through doors to get to the elevator when we leave our car in the parking ramp.
This is the elevator in the ramp. We will take it to the entrance of the hospital.
We check in at the desk in the lobby before we go to our appointment.
We take another elevator to go to our appointment in the hospital.
We take another elevator to go to our appointment in the hospital.
We check in at the desk.
We wait in the waiting room until the nurse is ready to see me.
Today I brought my special monkey with me.
The nurse calls my name.
We walk with her.
I take my shoes off for my weight and height.
The nurse weighs me.
Then the nurse measures how tall I am.
We find my room.
I see my bed and some things the nurse will use to take care of me.
My family can sit with me.
My nurse may use a monitor to see how I am doing.
The nurse checks my temperature in my ear.
The nurse puts a red light on my finger. It does not hurt me.
The nurse puts a cuff on my arm.
The cuff checks my blood pressure.
I may change into hospital pajamas.
I will sit on the bed.
