Guest Meal Room Service for Parents and Caregivers
Gift cards for guest meal room service are available for family members and guests of inpatients at Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
With these cards, visitors can order meals from a select menu and have the food delivered to the patient’s room.
Guest room meal service is available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Food will be delivered within 45 minutes. $5 minimum charge for Guest Room Service.
Guest meal room service is available on these inpatient units:
- Mother Baby Unit (6 JPP)
- Mother Baby Unit (3 JPP)
- Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (Level 3)
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level 6 and 6 JPP)
- 9th Floor Inpatient Unit (Level 9)
- Walmart and Sam’s Club 10th Floor Inpatient Unit (Level 10)
- University of Iowa Dance Marathon Pediatric Cancer Center (Level 11)
While there are many places throughout UI Health Care to purchase meals using cash or credit cards, food and nutrition gift cards must be used to order guest room meal service.
Prices on menu are for guests who wish to dine in a patient’s room.
Daily homemade specials are available at each meal. Ask operator for more information.
