Pharmacy Services
UI Health Care pharmacies are not currently included in the White House’s N95 mask distribution partnership with pharmacies across the nation, such as Walgreens and CVS. At this time, we have not received masks, and we do not have N95 masks available for the community at any of our UI Health Care pharmacy locations.
For Patients
Our Pharmacies
Patients choose our pharmacies for all the features of a retail pharmacy plus the benefits of providers who are familiar with their condition. Our pharmacies are located throughout the hospital and at two convenient locations in Coralville and Riverside. Our highly trained pharmacists explain your medications and help you with needed over-the-counter supplies.
Specialty Pharmacy Services
As key members of your care team, specialty pharmacists and technicians provide a variety of services such as answering medication questions 24-hours a day and working with your health insurance provider and other resources to see that your medications are affordable.
Clinical Services Provided by Pharmacists
Clinical Pharmacy Specialists provide care to patients that have established care at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. These pharmacists work with other members of the health care team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
