If you need help filling out or submitting your application, feel free to visit our Application Resource Center to speak to a team member.
Step 2: Talk to a recruiter
Once we have received your application and supplemental materials, we will reach out to you to discuss which units interest you the most.
Step 3: Conduct interviews and job shadow
You can interview and shadow with up to three units of your choice. Please view the list of available units here: Nursing Unit Descriptions.
If you haven’t yet selected a nursing area, we can set up job-shadowing experiences to help you decide. After you've determined your units of interest, you will work with the recruiter to schedule your interviews and shadowing opportunities with the nurse managers.
Step 4: References
If you are selected to move forward in the hiring process, we will request five professional references.
Of the five total references, two must be supervisors. The other three may be supervisors, colleagues, or coworkers. We ask that the supervisor references be your current or most recent and be relative to your nursing position, if you have health care experience.
Your recruiter will notify you when we would like to begin checking your references. Here's how the process works:
- An email will be sent to you directly from SkillSurvey that includes a link to its website.
- You will need to enter the e-mail address, contact name, title, phone number, and organization for each of your references.
- Each of your references will receive an e-mail from SkillSurvey directing them to complete a confidential online survey regarding your past clinical/work performance.
To help expedite the process, we recommend that you contact your references in advance and encourage them to complete their reference survey in a timely manner.
Step 5: Offers
Once your reference check is complete, the management teams will review your references’ responses. Your recruiter will follow up with you on how each team would like to proceed.
