We will resume accepting other types of donations at a later date. Please check back, as this page will be updated as circumstances change. Thank you for your interest and generosity in assisting our staff and serving our patients and the community.

Monetary donations

How can you help? You can make the biggest impact through a monetary donation to the UI Center for Advancement. The UI Center for Advancement provides support for our most urgent needs.

Homemade cloth masks and caps

UI Health Care is now accepting homemade face masks as well as caps. Here are few things to keep in mind so that we can use the items the community kindly donates:

  • All fabric must be new.
  • Before starting, please launder the fabric in a non-scented/allergen-free detergent with no fabric softener.
  • When drying the fabric, please do not use dryer sheets.
  • All items must come from a smoke-, dust-, pet-, and illness-free environment.
  • Please use one of the three patterns for homemade cloth masks:

An item for comfort for our staff when wearing a face shield is a cap. This cap can also be made at home with the following template/instructions.
