Critical Access Hospital networks enhance the financial and quality of care for member hospitals through efficient resource pooling and collaborative clinical and staffing practices. Networked hospitals:
- Provide support in meeting the basic requirements and regulations of CMS
- Develop forums for data collection and the development of benchmarks and best practices
- Potentially share clinical and support staff resources to ensure access to needed care in rural areas
Together we provide:
- Continuity of care via transfer or referral, if needed, to an acute/tertiary care facility
- Appropriate and timely communications
- Credentialing
