What is Nabla?
Nabla is a software that assists providers with note taking so they can focus on your care journey.
How does Nabla work?
The Nabla software simply listens using speech-to-text technology and then creates a summary that your provider reviews and edits before creating a final note that is saved in your medical record. The conversation is not recorded.
What if I don’t want my provider to use this technology?
The use of the Nabla software is optional. Staff will ask for verbal permission to use it during your visit. You are welcome to decline.
How do I know the notes Nabla generates are accurate?
The notes generated by Nabla are reviewed by the provider before they are finalized and entered into your medical record. This ensures that the documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and meets all clinical standards.
Is patient data safe with Nabla?
The Nabla software is secure and encrypted. Nabla is a HIPAA compliant platform allowing for your medical information to stay private. Nabla does not retain the audio recording. The software only stores the transcribed data for a short period of time after the encounter, to allow your provider to review, edit, and transfer the summary to your medical record.
