Project Art offers artists the opportunity to display their artwork to a diverse audience through the Temporary Exhibits Program. Past exhibits have featured a wide variety of media, techniques, and styles of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork, including metalworking, jewelry, painting, ceramics, textiles, prints, and photography. Artists of all mediums are encouraged to apply for solo or small group exhibitions!
These rotating exhibitions typically are installed for two to three months to be enjoyed by patients, visitors and staff. Artwork that is not deemed suitable for the healing environment will not be exhibited. Temporary Exhibitions are typically scheduled at least 6 months in advance, depending on availability of requested gallery space. Temporary exhibition galleries are located in the John Colloton Pavilion, Levels 6 and 8, and in the Fountain lobby, level 1 General Hospital.
